Bournemouth vs Tottenham- Team News
The Cherries enter the contest in 19th place on the Premier League standings and four points adrift of safety. A win will bolster their confidence and could leave them on the verge of leaving the drop zone. Eddie Howe’s side can take heart from the fact that the current Tottenham side is inconsistent and recently fell to a 3-1 humiliation against Sheffield United.
Injuries: Charlie Daniels, Simon Francis and Jack Stacey have all been ruled out of the game which leaves Howe short of options at the back. Steve Cook is set to miss out due to a hamstring injury. Chris Mepham and Andrew Surman could be in contention to play whilst Philip Billing is expected to return to the Cherries lineup. Callum Wilson will be in contention to play after serving his suspension.
Bournemouth possible starting lineup:
Ramsdale; Smith, Ake, Mepham, Rico; Brooks, Billing, Lerma, Stanislas; C Wilson, King

Eighth place Tottenham recovered from their 3-1 humiliation at the hands of Sheffield United with a 1-0 win against Everton on Monday. The win was not the most attractive but it was three points nonetheless. Jose Mourinho’s side is seven points adrift of fifth place Manchester United. They desperately need a strong run of performances now if they want to once again finish in the top four. A fifth place finish could be sufficient to take them to next season’s Champions League due to Manchester City’s two season ban from Europe’s Premier club competition.
Injuries: Hugo Lloris and Son Heung-Min who had a disagreement during the game against Everton are expected to start. Juan Foyth and Japhet Tanganga remain on the sidelines and will not feature.
Tottenham possible starting lineup:
Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Davies; Sissoko, Winks, Lo Celso; Bergwijn, Kane, Son
