Serie A league leaders hosts the Rossoneri for the last game of the weekend on Sunday evening. Juventus have turned their stadium in a real fortress, as they now have not lost for 26 outings in a row. This week they face one of their favorite Serie A opponents in recent seasons – AC Milan. Eight victories out of the last eight clashes against them, but they need to add another one if they want to remain on top of the table before the international break arrives. Milan, on the other hand, are experiencing a difficult start of the season. The appointment of Pioli as the head coach in the camp has not resulted successful until now, as the former Fiorentina man has done little to make an impact in the overall league performances of the visitors.
Juventus managed to get out with a narrow win against the rivals from Turin and they managed to beat Lokomotiv Moskow after the added time in midweek – for the Champions League group stage clash. They are yet to be defeated. The Biancconeri’s start of this campaign has gone well so far, but there is obviously room for improvement as they are still not shining when it comes to the final results – considering the quality of the players they possess. Their performances have been somehow showing signs of true champions, somehow lucky. This week they are outright favourites against the struggling Milan side, who are entering the match just like another mid table team, far from the old giants we know and yet to prove themselves under Pioli.
Milan has experimented quite a lot with their managerial and boredom changes in the last few seasons. We are also witnesses to have seen lots of arrivals and departures in the club as attempts to bring back their glory days. But after the fourth match of the Pioli as a head coach they still look to be on a downward curve.
Juventus Team News:
Giorgio Chiellini will remain outside of this match and is not expected to return before February. Mathias de Ligt has suffered a sprained ankle injury last round and is another big miss this clash. Matia Perin is also set to miss the clash due to a shoulder injury, but his absence will surely not be noticed.
Milan Team News:
Milan will travel to Turin without counting on the services of Samu Castillejo, who has suffered a muscle injury and Suso, who was back in training but is not yet fully-fit to start the clash. Mattia Caldara and Ricardo Rodrigez are doubtful.

-Maurizio Sarri and Stefano Pioli have met 9 times. Sarri has five wins, Pioli has three. One match has ended in a draw.
-Juventus have won 16 out of the last 18 matches against Milan.
-Juventus have not lost in the last 16 matches overall.
-Milan have not managed to keep the clean sheet for the last nine matches.
-Last time they met Juventus won 2-1.
Juventus are set to enter this match just like another one. The times when this clash was awaited with full of emotions are gone. We don’t expect to see here a comfortable win from Juve, but surely there will be some goals here and we don’t see much potential in Milan in making a surprise to the final result.
