Eibar vs Sevilla: Match preview
There is no doubt that Eibar is one of the biggest disappointments of the season. Namely, this team is in the penultimate place on the table at the moment and they still do not know about the triumph.
However, Eibar managed to draw in the away game against Levante in the last round. This is certainly a good result, since Levante is known as a team that plays fantastically on its own court. Before that, players of Eibar allowed themselves to be defeated by Espanyol, after a turnaround.
They are hosted by Sevilla, who lost the top spot after losing to Real Madrid in the last round. There is no doubt that this was certainly the weakest match of the Andalusians this season, in which they practically did not create any serious opportunity.
At the moment, Seville is in fifth place in the standings, which is certainly quite good, as Sevilla’s main ambition is to return to the Champions League after two years, although it will be quite a difficult task. If they want to qualify for the best European club competition, Sevilla must win on the sidelines as well.
Eibar team news:
Eibar cannot win at the start of the season and it is no surprise that they are in the penultimate spot on the table. Interestingly, they are losing games in which they manage to score, and they draw twice when they have played games without goals.
It should also be said that they have played four times so far and only played in front of their fans once, when they were defeated by Espanyol. It was two rounds ago, and in the prvious they played 0-0 at Levante.
They had a lead against Espanyol and then they scored two goals in just three minutes. The team refreshments against Levante were Pedro Leon and Quique. Stopper Ramis has been injured and Charles could return to the top of the attack.
Probable lineup: Dmitrović – Tejero, Oliveira, Arbilla, J.Angel – Diop, Exposito, Pedro Leon, Orellana – Charles, Quique
Sevilla team news:
Although they have only been defeated once, it cannot be said that Sevilla provides the parties that were expected of them. Especially when it comes to home games, as they did not win two games. They have three wins and they have all scored in away games without a goal received.
They capitulated for the first time when Celta scored their equalizer goal and then lost in the last round against Real. Real was not in good shape, however, Sevilla failed and they lost 1-0. It is certain that there will be a change in the team now.
Probable lineup: Vaclik – J.Navas, Kounde, Carrico, Escudero – Fernando, Banega, O.Torres – Munir, Chicharito, Nolito
Eibar is in big trouble and this could really be a season where they will struggle to survive. Sevilla didn’t play well in the last round, however. They are very good away this season so we do not expect that they can lose to Eibar.
