Arsenal’s Upcoming Watford Match

Arsenal started this EPL with an embarrassing defeat and a substantial blow dealt to them by Chelsea. The Gunners definitely expected more, but now they are stuck with Tottenham hovering over the fifth place. However, their results are not too shabby, all things considered. At 4 wins and 2 losses in the overall standing, this is a respectable score.

Arsenal are definitely a team that wants more. In fact, they can do more. When analysts were deciding what the chances of the team are to win against Chelsea in the August English Premier League (EPL), nobody expected that Chelsea would be playing so fierce. But it’s understandable, isn’t it? Chelsea have been one of the best performing team in the competition and other than their temporary setback against West Ham, they remain so.

Still Man City are ahead of them. In the upcoming match between Arsenal will have to start catch up to the rest of the pack. This could happen in only one way – victory. Arsenal needs the point against Watford to carry on. But do Watford want to concede the point?

Watford – An Insurmountable Obstacle

Let’s start with the plain fact that Watford have a slightly better score. It may be luck but it’s most likely pure skill. Watford have been solid in their gaming efforts and nothing seems to dissuade them. Meanwhile, Arsenal have been suffering from more internal strife which is doing no credit to the team.

With the arrival of the new coach, Unai Emery, trouble in Arsenal has persisted. The team now has to overcome Watford and there’s no other way. If they even draw, this will be bad for their chances to catch up to the rest of the pack. Then again, Watford also don’t want to draw against Arsenal, which simply means that the competition will be neck-and-neck.

Whom to Bet on in the Upcoming Match?

It’s a great question to ask. To be fair, both teams are rather tied for a victory. We don’t think that a draw is a possibility. The simple reason is that both teams want to win and in their haste one of those is bound to make an irreparable mistake.

Arsenal have a very poor track record of passing up on great opportunities, but the mentorship of their new coach may have finally starting to pay off, meaning that they will have fewer things to worry about.

Still the linger threat of a gross breach in their own defenses is very much alive and there. To make sure that the dangerous of any unpalatable outcome are avoided, Arsenal will have to acknowledge the simple truth that they aren’t the best team in the championship, and there is a lot that they will have to do to catch up to the rest.

A victory against Watford is a great start, to be perfectly honest.
